Collision center personnel are invited to join the Techmotive customer portal to submit work requests for vehicle services. For tracking purposes, you’ll be prompted to provide basic information, such as a repair order and vehicle identification number. Once this information is submitted, you can upload reports and images of the vehicle for specific repair issues and provide details to create a work request to be processed by a Techmotive technician.
Once Techmotive receives a work request, a technician and service writer will begin working together by reviewing the request and converting it into a job. Updates are relayed via the customer portal in real-time, so you’ll have complete visibility into the workflows. You’ll see pending requests, jobs in progress, and completed work in the portal dashboard.
Customers submitting estimate requests often require insurance company pre-approval before jobs can commence. That’s no sweat on our end. Simply submit the request and specify the type of job, such as a pre-scan, alignment, or glass removal. We’ll receive the estimate request, and the service writer will process it and upload it to the estimates tab in the portal for easy access. We’re all about visibility, so you’ll have the chance to review pricing, recommendations, and parts needed before approving the work.
After you review and approve the work request, we’re on our way to start servicing the vehicle repairs, and the job progress is reflected in the portal. You’ll receive a notification when the invoice is ready. Here’s the cool part: you’ll receive a unique link to access your portal. There’s no need to remember pesky login information. You can download invoices and inspection reports, view alignment sheets, and other supporting documentation. Additionally, you can securely submit payments directly within the portal, and discounts are automatically applied to reduce errors and save you time.
To recap, all communication is now in a centralized portal–let’s forget about the frustrations we incur with back-and-forth calls and emails; all updates are in one place. It’s worth mentioning again–real-time visibility into job statuses, estimates, and invoices. Lastly, don’t forget the value of time savings.
